- Home shows your drives, folders, the Recycle Bin and PC Checkup.
- Run PC Checkup to see how much space you can free.
- Open Storage map to see which folders are biggest.
- Find duplicates; the originals are kept for you.
- Browse every photo, video and song in one list.
- Switch off startup apps, check Task Manager, uninstall programs and pick a theme.
Free Up Space on Windows in One Click (PC Checkup)
PC Checkup looks at your junk files, the Recycle Bin, duplicate files and startup apps at once, then shows how much space you can get back, with a fix button for each.
- On Home, click Run checkup.
- MyFileHub checks junk files, the Recycle Bin, duplicates and startup apps at the same time.
- Read the total you can free up, and what each line found.
- Click the button on any line (Clean up, Empty, Review) to fix just that part.
- Everything removed goes to the Recycle Bin first. Run the checkup again any time with the refresh button.
What's Taking Up Space on My PC? See It Instantly
The storage map shows every folder as a box: the bigger the box, the more space it uses. Click to zoom in, see the biggest files, and clear what you don't need.
- Open Storage map in the sidebar.
- Click Map your files, or pick the whole drive or another folder at the top.
- Every box is a folder or file; the bigger the box, the more space it uses.
- Click a box to zoom into that folder. The biggest files in it are listed on the right.
- Use the trash button next to a file to move it to the Recycle Bin, and the trail at the top to go back.
Find & Delete Duplicate Files on Windows (Safely)
MyFileHub compares real file contents, not just names, so only true copies are listed. The original is kept automatically and the copies go to the Recycle Bin.
- Open Duplicates in the sidebar.
- Choose where to look and the smallest file size to check, then click Find duplicates.
- MyFileHub compares the actual contents, so only true copies are listed.
- In each set the original is kept and the extra copies are ticked. Use Keep newest or Keep oldest to change that.
- Click Move copies to Recycle Bin. One copy of every file always stays.
Delete Junk & Temp Files on Windows 11 in One Click
Old temp files, logs and crash dumps pile up for years. MyFileHub lists the ones that haven't changed in 30+ days and clears them in one click. You choose what counts as junk.
- Open Junk in the sidebar.
- You'll see old temp files, logs, backups and crash dumps that haven't changed in 30 days or more.
- Click Move all to Recycle Bin, or right-click single files to keep some.

Restore or Empty the Recycle Bin (the Easy Way)
See what's in your Recycle Bin and where each file came from, restore anything with a right-click, or empty it to get the space back.
- Double-click Recycle Bin on Home.
- Each item shows its size, where it was deleted from and when.
- Right-click anything and choose Restore to put it back where it was.
- Click Empty Recycle Bin to delete everything in it for good. MyFileHub asks first.
Make Windows 11 Start Faster: Turn Off Startup Apps
See every app that opens when you sign in and switch off the ones you don't need. Turning one off doesn't uninstall it.
- Open Startup apps in the sidebar.
- The top line shows how many apps open every time you sign in.
- Flip the switch next to any app to stop it starting with Windows. It stays installed and you can still open it.
- Apps set for all users show a lock: restart MyFileHub as admin (Terminal → Restart as admin) to change those.
Uninstall Programs on Windows & Find the Big Ones
Every installed program with its size and install date. Sort by size to find the big ones, filter to find one fast, and uninstall with its own uninstaller.
- Open Programs in the sidebar.
- Every installed program is listed with its size and install date.
- Click the Size or Installed column to sort, or type in the filter box to find one.
- Click Uninstall, then follow the program's own uninstaller. The list updates when you come back.
A Friendlier Task Manager: CPU, GPU & RAM at a Glance
Live CPU, memory, GPU and disk charts, plus every running program grouped by app. Windows' own processes are protected so you can't end the wrong thing.
- Open Task Manager in the sidebar.
- The cards at the top show live CPU, memory, GPU and temperature, plus disk space and uptime.
- Below, every running program is grouped by app with its CPU and memory use. Click a column to sort.
- Windows' own processes are marked "Part of Windows" and can't be ended by mistake.
How to Close a Frozen Program on Windows
When a game or app stops responding and your PC crawls, find it in MyFileHub's Task Manager and end it. Frozen apps get a Force end option.
- Open Task Manager in the sidebar.
- Sort by CPU to find the program that's stuck (it often says "Not responding").
- Click End task.
- If it doesn't close, choose Force end. Only that program is closed; anything unsaved in it is lost.
Schedule Any Program to Run Automatically on Windows

- Select a file and press Delete (or right-click → Move to Recycle Bin).
- Choose Save a copy first to also keep a backup in your Recovery folder, or Move to Recycle Bin.
